ABOUT
LIFELINE PRODUCTIONS
Using the power of the arts, LIFELINE PRODUCTIONS exists to create awareness and produce personal life stories that take you inside the minds of those who struggle, to better understand their invisible demons, and shatter the stigma surrounding mental illness. These stories are about the resiliency of the human spirit and will provide hope, healing, comfort and a sense of control in their own lives for those who suffer from mental illnesses, their families and friends, those who professionally care for them, and the civilian population who are unaware of the crisis we face. LIFELINE will achieve this mission by presenting original works of art to as many people as possible across various media platforms: theatre, video/film, and publications. LIFELINE will maximize the reach of these works of art by developing and nurturing relationships and partnerships with both local and national mental health organizations and other powerful programs that deal with such issues as suicide, end of life/death with dignity, and PTSD, to name just a few. We will be using the power of storytelling in both theatre and film to help normalize mental illness. The company is already in discussions with a national non-profit, ACTIVE MINDS, whose mission for the past 18 years has been to address the alarming rate of suicides on college campuses from untreated mental illnesses.

CURRENT PROJECT
CLOWNS LIKE ME

In his world premiere, one-man show “Clowns Like Me,” Sarasota actor and storyteller Scott Ehrenpreis tells his humorous yet profound story of living with mental illness. “Clowns Like Me” reveals the fascinating, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting true story of Scott’s personal journey as he struggles against OCD, bipolar disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, social anxiety and depression. Ultimately, Scott discovers that being on stage gives him the power, even for just a couple hours, to step into the light and leave the shadows of his mental health struggles behind. Audiences are in for a show that will make them laugh, cry and leave thinking differently about the stigmas tied to mental health.

Grow Your Vision
Storytelling is how we move from where we were....to where we are now... and where we’re going. Storytelling is how we heal, how we validate, how we inform, how we connect, and how we make sense of the senselessness of the world. Stories don’t have to focus merely on trauma and suffering. By telling stories of healing and evolution, we redeem our suffering. When stories are told by those who suffer about how their lives have evolved and changed, the hopeless find their hope. The lonely find camaraderie. And the lost find their way home.
